Based on residential system and passive building demand, proposes a dehumidifying outdoor air handling unit with exhaust air energy recovery. This unit has a main condenser in exhaust air duct, which is used to recycle the exhaust air energy and avoid cross-contamination that occurred in the traditional way. Under refrigeration condition, the high temperature refrigerant is condensed by low temperature exhaust air, to reduce the condensing temperature of the unit. Under heating condition, the refrigerant absorbs the heat from high temperature exhaust air and evaporates, so as to increase the evaporating temperature. The exhaust air heat recovery method optimizes the operating environment of the system, which not only reduces the energy consumption of the compressor, but also avoids the risk of frosting in winter.
